About Me

Family. When I am not on campus, you can find me spending time with a fantastic group of people I call family. We're navigating the collegiate years, the high school years, and the junior high years all at the same time. I am thankful for my kind, generous, supportive husband who blesses me in so many ways. We enjoy the mountains and the beach. Breaking away to make memories together is a splendid blessing.

Teaching. I started teaching in 2000; I have taught grades 2-8 (one year in a combo). When the children were little, we opted to homeschool them. They were in public school for several years. A few of them are homeschooling again. Two of our children started college at ages 15 and 17 (it is the dual enrollment program; college and high school completion simultaneously). Professionally, I was at the collegiate level for 9 semesters facilitating a 65-computer Technology Lab. To the classroom, I bring conventional and non-conventional teaching strategies. In 2013, my family relocated to Clovis. So, I have only been in the Clovis Unified School District since 2014.

Education. In 2019, I completed a master's degree in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Digital Technology. In 2021, I completed one year of a doctoral program with a focus on Organizational Leadership in K-12 Education. (Thank you to Madison Thompson for this great picture!)

I am delighted to journey with you. And, I am thankful for the opportunity to serve you.
