Course Description:

The Dance Repertory program provides students with a quality dance education that exposes dancers of all levels to a variety of styles, and their corresponding techniques, in order to broaden students' understanding of the art of dance and the process of creating choreography. Additionally, our dance program strives to shape our students as whole individuals. We work to see students grow in their self-confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate with others and appreciation for the unique talents and perspective every individual can bring to the world of dance. At the end of the year we showcase what our students have learned and created throughout their time in Dance Repertory by producing the annual Clovis High Dance Concert.

Students Who Succeed in This Course:

Extremely hard working and responsible students who love to be creative, who love to perform, and love to try new things. Students who are interested in learning a variety of dance styles such as hip hop, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, etc. and understand how to work as part of a team to successfully complete a goal.
