Course Description:
In APUSH, students will study significant events, individuals, and developments of United States history. Students will delve into the influences of the founding of our nation and how our founding principles have continued to shape American culture and society. This course is an equivalent to a two-semester introductory college course. Students can earn two semesters of Uni-track credit from Fresno State or can earn college credit by taking the College Board exam.
Students Who Succeed in This Course:
Students who would be successful in APUSH are students who are thinking of attending a college or university after high school. They are willing to spend time working on their reading and writing skills knowing that this effort will result in earning college credit. Students who take APUSH are generally interested in learning about American History and discussing the complexities of American politics, culture and society.
