Peer Counseling

Course Description:

The goal of this year-long class is to train students in communication techniques and counseling skills so that they may offer peer support at CHS. Peer counselors are trained in decision-making, problem solving, conflict/resolution, and other helping strategies. Peer Counselors also are committed to serving their school and surrounding community.

Students Who Succeed in This Course:

Students who do well in this course are kind, caring/empathetic, a good listener, a good communicator and has a helping heart.
