Course Description:

The History Through Film portion of the course utilizes numerous feature length movies to allow participants to better understand important historical periods and concepts. Theses movies run the spectrum from fun and entertaining to somber and thought provoking. Students will also learn how to critically analyze these films from a more technical lens.

Students Who Succeed in This Course:

A curious and open mind are important for students taking this course. Students should also be willing to participate in class discussion. While homework is typically less than a required Social Science class, this is an academic elective that will require a certain level of commitment by the student.
