S.T.O.P. is assigned by the teacher to a student when the student's behavior is disruptive and interrupting the learning process. When sent to S.T.O.P., the student will spend the remainder of the class period in the S.T.O.P. room and will be allowed to return to their normal daily schedule upon the completion of that period. Parents will be contacted by the teacher that assigned S.T.O.P. to their student. Repeat visits to S.T.O.P. can result in additional consequences and conferences with administration.
