Personal Property

Students are discouraged from bringing valuable items to school. CHS does not assume responsibility nor liability for personal property. If a student’s valuable item(s) becomes a distraction, the item(s) will be confiscated and only returned to the owner’s parent or legal guardian. Valuable items may include: cash, credit/debit cards, jewelry, electronic devices, etc.

LOST and FOUND

Students finding lost articles must take them to the lost and found area where their owners can claim them. Lost and found items will be located in grade level break out areas. Items such as AirPods, cell phones, glasses, etc. should be turned in to the office. The school cannot be held responsible for lost items. Efforts will be made to recover misplaced or stolen items, but the school will not be responsible for replacing them. Students who find items on school grounds are responsible for returning those items to the office or lost and found. To do otherwise is stealing.
