All major tests will be announced at least 3-5 days prior to the date of the test. Major tests are defined as chapter tests, unit tests, or nine-week tests. Teams will devise testing schedules so no more than two (2) major tests occur on the same day. Teams will also devise a schedule regarding projects so that there will be no overlapping of major assignments.

Students scoring below a 70 on a major test, excluding projects, are given the opportunity to retest or earn points up to a 70 to improve their grade as defined by classroom guidelines. The student will be required to complete a prerequisite (at the direction of the teacher) prior to the retake or resubmission.  Retaking of tests will occur before school, after school, during lunch, or at other times as scheduled by the teacher. Retakes or corrections must be completed before the end of the grading term deadline.
