Visitors on school business are welcome at CMS. Upon entering the building, each visitor should report immediately to the office for a visitor pass. Visitors will be asked to state the nature of their business and to restrict their visit to those places in the school that are required by the business at hand.
Parents/legal guardians may visit their student's classroom with prior permission and approval from the principal. Once approved, the parent can schedule a visitation time with the teacher. Parent visitations should not interfere with the instructional environment.
Parents/legal guardians may have lunch with their student during the student's designated lunch period in a designated area of the cafeteria.
All school visitors must sign in at the main office with a photo ID to be issued a visitor’s pass prior to entering the building.
Siblings, friends, or students from other schools are not allowed to visit classrooms.
Appointments are required for conferences and may be scheduled directly with the teacher, counselor, or administrator of interest.
Teachers and students will not be called out of classes unless an emergency exists.
Please refer to the Main Office Procedures below for information regarding student deliveries.
