The media center is the center of information services for Clover Middle School and has resources available for all students. The media center is open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM each school day.
Expectations for conduct:
Students should talk quietly in the media center.
Students will be warned for inappropriate behavior. Any further unsuitable behavior will result in temporary suspension from the media center and/or consequences from the school discipline code.
Policies and Procedures for Circulation:
Students may check out five (5) items for two (2) weeks with renewal privileges as needed.
Magazines and newspapers may be read in the media center only.
Notices are sent to language arts teachers when students have overdue library books and/or fines. Students on this list will not be allowed to check out another book until all library obligations are met.
Students must pay for all lost materials. Students who damage library materials will be charged a fee up to the replacement cost, depending on the amount of damage.
Year-end report cards for students with overdue or missing library materials will be held until the materials are returned or paid for. Students with overdue materials will be excluded from incentive days.
Computer Use:
The internet may only be used for educational purposes.
No games or email permitted.
Access to computers and the internet is a privilege, which will be taken away if misused.
DISCUS (http://scdiscus.org) is recommended for online research.

To login to a student account, click "Login"
Username = student's barcode number (on the front of agenda)
Password = student's last name (all lowercase)
Click "My Info” to renew materials (cannot renew if materials are overdue)
