Squash: Termly Reflection
It has been a very busy and exciting term for our squash players. Our U11 and U13 boys and girls have participated in numerous KZN tournaments this term as they worked towards qualifying for the KZN teams. From January to May, monthly tournaments were organised by KZN Squash as part of the selection process for the Interprovincial Tournament (IPT), which takes place in June.
Approximately 20 Clifton players took part in these trials, some attending more frequently than others. We are incredibly proud that 13 of our players were selected to represent KwaZulu-Natal at the IPT at the end of June. The U11 tournament will be held in George, while the U13 tournament will take place in Port Elizabeth.

The squash courts at Clifton remain as busy as ever despite the wide variety of sports and activities available to our children. It is encouraging to see so many players committed to improving their game and embracing the opportunities that squash provides.
A special thank you must go to Brian Borgen for the many hours he dedicates to coaching our players. Our younger players have made tremendous progress under his guidance, while our senior players continue to compete successfully at a provincial level. Brian's enthusiasm, patience, and commitment to developing our players are greatly appreciated, and we thank him for the positive impact he has on squash at Clifton.
