Grade 4 Trip to Nyala Pans: 13 - 15 May

The Grade 4s headed off to Nyala Pans, and what a trip it was! From the moment we arrived and saw that beautiful valley, we knew we were in for a treat.

The water activities are always a massive hit. The river was at a perfect level for rafting, and swimming and building dams in the sand. Of course, the 5-metre courage jump was the real talk of the camp! We saw plenty of brave faces (and heard some very loud screams of glee) as the adrenaline junkies went back for second and third time.

It wasn’t all just splashing in the mud; the kids got stuck into some real outdoor skills:

Even when the sun went down and the evening chill set in, the fun didn't stop. Between sunset soccer matches and exploring the trails on a night walk, there was never a dull moment.

More than anything, it was wonderful to see our Grade 4 stars helping each other out. Whether it was overcoming a fear of heights or making a brand-new friend, everyone showed so much kindness.

A huge thank you to Nyala Pans for an unforgettable adventure!
