You can create courses and programs that the community centre or external providers run. They can then be posted online, allowing people to sign up for and participate in these programs.
1. Go to House Admin > Activities/Programs > Courses/Programs.'
2. Select + New Course / Program.
3. Select the Type and Delivery.
Type:
Course - takes place over some time and has one registration.
Program - had adhoc attendance.
Delivery:
Internal - courses/programs run as part of house operations.
External Provider - courses/programs run by external groups.
4. Enter the Primary Details about the Course/Program:
Name: The name of the course/program. Enter a name that includes a representative title and time period as it will appear throughout the system.
Term: Select the term in which the course/program will take place.
Start Date: This field will be automatically filled after selecting the Term.
End Date: This field will be automatically filled after selecting the Term.
Activity: The type of course/program.
Category: The group of activities that the program/course belongs to.
Facilitator: Who will be running the course/program. If you do not see the required facilitator, ensure that the selected activity to the instructor’s profile.
Course Capacity: The maximum number of people that can attend the course/program.
Remaining Capacity: The number of remaining spaces available for the course/program.
Status: select the status from the following:
Available
Selling Fast
Sold Out
Free Course?: Select this option if no payment is required for this Course/Program.
5. Fill in the Website Details:
Available Online: Select this option if the program/course is available online.
Allow Individual Session Registration: Select this option if people can register for individual sessions.
When: When the program/course will take place.
Start Time: The time that the program/course will start.
Where: The room/location where the program/course will be held.
Website Image: Upload an image of the activity. The ideal image dimensions for the courses/programs is 355 x 355 px.
Short Description: A short description of the program/course.
Long Description: A detailed description of the program/course.
Map Location: The location where the program/course will be held.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Select the cancellation and refund policy for the program/course.
Terms and Conditions: Select the terms and conditions policy for the program/course.
Privacy Policy: Select the privacy policy for the program/course
Tags: Select the relevant tags.
URL: The link to the
6. Add Contact Details:
Name: Name of the person registering for the program/course.3
Contact Email: Email address of the person registering for the course/program.
Contact Phone: Phone number of the person registering for the program/course.
7. If you would like to add Pricing information, select Add Pricing, then enter the pricing information:
Once you have entered all the relevant information, select Submit.
