Membership fees are applied during online enrolment based on the status of the enrolling participant.
When a user enrols online, they enter their email address. Clevero uses this email to check for an existing participant record.
No matching email found
→ The participant is treated as new, and a membership fee is applied.
Matching email found
→ The participant’s membership status is checked:
Inactive → Membership fee is applied
Active, Non-Member, or Family → Membership fee is not applied
Only new participants and those with an Inactive status are charged a membership fee.
