This guide explains how to charge a parent membership fee when parents enrol their children in child-based activities.
All child pricing for online enrolments is configured in the Family Registration Process section of a course or program. However, you can still collect a membership fee from the parent during the enrolment process.
Open the House Admin > Courses/Programs > All Courses/Programs.
Select the available course or program > Click Edit.
3. In the Pricing section, create a pricing row using the Parent price level.
Set the Session Fee & Course/Program to $0
Enter the required Membership Fee
4. Go to the Family Registration Process section. Configure the child pricing for the activity as required.
5. Save your changes.
What the Parent Sees During Enrolment
When a parent enrols online:
The activity itself shows a $0 activity fee for the parent
The membership fee is applied once a child is added
The child activity fee is added per child
Parent activity fee: $0
Parent membership fee: $10
Child activity fee: $80
Subtotal: Membership fee ($10) + Child activity fee ($80) = $90
