How to set up pricing to charge membership fees for course/program enrolments
Many neighbourhood houses charge membership fees to help cover administration costs. Clevero makes this easy and flexible, you can:
Choose which courses or programs require a membership fee
Charge different membership fees for different price types (for example, Standard or Concession)
Membership fees are configured directly on the Course / Program record.
Setting Up Membership Fees
Find and open the course or program you want to apply a membership fee to.
Navigate to the Pricing section.
Select a price level from the available options.
Set a price for:
Session ($) – for one-off session enrolments
Course / Program ($) – for enrolment in the full course or program
Enter the Membership Fee ($).
(Optional) Add additional pricing rows if you want to offer multiple price types.
For example, you might create:
A Standard Member price level
A Concession price level
Each price level can have its own session price, program price, and membership fee.
Proving Concession Eligibility
Verifying concession eligibility can be difficult with online payments.
If you offer concession pricing, it is recommended to:
Set the payment method on the course or program to In Person (instead of Credit Card)
Verify concession cards or documentation at the time of payment
This helps ensure concession pricing is applied correctly.
