Ictuan

Ictuan, officially the Worker's Commonwealth of Ictuan, is a small island nation in Freedopolis.

Ictuan was known as the Dynasty of Ictuan and Gectuan for most of its history, until 1672, when Gectuan was annexed by the Urn District, causing it to become the Dynasty of Ictuan. It was one of the most prevalent cliques in the War of Eliotuan, however lost a large amount of its territory on the island of Eliotuan to the Urn District in 1565. They seceded the rest of their land on the island to the Urn District in 1590. 

From 1680 to 1871, the Urn District and Ictuan entered cordial but strained relations. A communist revolution and the brief Ictuanese Civil War from 1871-72 caused a brief period of severed relations between the two, but relations were re-established in 1876. The two nations are now very close allies and cooperate on a number of matters.
