Regional Defense Council of the Itmol

The Regional Defense Council of the Itmol (RDC Itmol) was a short-lived anarchist commune located in the territory of modern-day Itmol, Itmol-Tulynn, and Nalana. It also laid claim to much of the Greater Itmol (including Ophaque, Mycadu, and Ontrea) but never took control of these territories. It was established after the fracturing of the Itmol State into Itmol and Gyvinska after the briefly-formed People's Republic of the Itmol collapsed into anarchy in 1982 consecutively with a brutal civil war in Itmol-Tulynn resulting in the national government fleeing to Niafre. 

The exact borders changed rapidly, especially when the Tulynnstadet (now Itmol-Tulynn) was invaded by Mycadu in 1987. In 1988, Niafre and Mycadu jointly invaded the Tulynnstadet once again, taking it from Itmolese control. Following this, the ILSS initiated Operation Sunrise Over Itmol, in which 31 member states contributed military resources and funding to a full-scale invasion of Itmol from Ophaque and Gualire. Following this invasion, the modern Seolist Sultanate of Itmol was established in November of 1988.
