Heritage

Heritage, officially the Kingdom of Heritage (Heritagian: مملكة التراث, mamlakat alturath), also known as Heritagia (an exonym), and formerly referred to as the Ibeyan Oranist Kingdom of Heritage, is a large country in Bospora. It is a superpower, a former member of the Council of Continental Bodies, and a Convention hardliner.

The Kingdom of Ibeya (مملكة ايبي, Mamlakat Aybi)  was founded in 1066, and quickly became a very prevelant clique in what would later become Heritage, due to its brutal policies and strategies in warfare. The kingdom took on the title Oranist Kingdom of Ibeya in ~1340, and then became the Ibeyan Oranist Kingdom of Heritage in ~1390, also referred to as the Ibey Clique. It was able to take control of much of the Heritagian east coast by 1506, in addition to establishing colonies in Gyvinska, Itmol, Gualire, Cacanus, and Lestria. It proceeded to unify all of the Heritagian cliques by 1600, resulting in its full sovereignty over the continent of Bospora aside from Borrasia. After sovereignty disputes, Trovillea declared independence in 1678. The Kingdom of Lieristria declared its independence from Heritage in 1789, to nearly no protest.

During the Scramble of Harbyrence, Heritage formed a coast-to-coast colony from Gyvinska (جيفيانسك, Jifyansik) to Easibaea (إيزيباي, Iizibayha). 

In 1908, the Gueranian Oranist Kingdom of Heritage (Guerani Clique) revolted against the government, starting the First Heritagian Civil War, which lasted two years. The Second Heritagian Civil War began in 1913, when the Spiric-supported Heritagian People's Republic revolted. This prevented a Heritagian entry into WW1 until 1917.

Heritage has a long-standing rivalry with Bastionspire, which has lasted since the formation of the Ibey clique.
