Lestradise

Lestradise, officially the Socialist Federation of Lestradise and Altia, is a nation in south Claustro and member state of the UASN. It has a heavily varied climate, with jungles in the northwest, deserts in the northeast, and mountains in the east.

Lestradise was originally part of the ancient Empire of Dheyvigun before its collapse. Following the collapse, there were several kingdoms that were established in modern Lestradisian territory, the largest of which being Lestrova. When Claustro was colonized, the Juneblossom Islands took parts of the south that now make up Winupardise and a small part of Altia, while the rest was colonized by the Ibey dynasty of Heritage. The Heritagian sector was referred to as Lestria.

During this period, there was a de facto independent nation in the Confederation of Winuparania-Lestrova-Altia, which controlled much of the the territory not directly administered by Heritage and the Juneblossom Islands. During the Fokelgamish Revolutionary War, the Altian Union, a member of the Confederation, assisted the Fokelgamish with material support and military access. After the war, Fokelgam put occupying military forces throughout the non-administered Heritagian portion of the region, which Heritage eventually exited from in 1804. 

The Confederation collapsed in 1812, leaving the Juneblossom Islands to fully administer their control over their section and Lestria and Altia to be independent nations. Altia joined the UASN while Lestria pursued neutrality, though this period of neutrality was ended by a UASN-backed socialist coup in the nation in 1890. This was followed by Altia's reunification into the modern Federation in 1844, and the declaration of Lestradise. In 1919, Lestradise was given territory from Junilian Dheyvigun at the end of WW1, establishing their modern borders.
