Dear Liam and Thibault,
I would like to seize this opportunity to, first of all, say 'Thank You' to both of you for your support during this exhibition journey. I have seen amazing things happening and I have been learning from you.
As we went along this journey, I came to know two amazing students, both unique in their own way. You have tried your best and I am proud of your achievement. You have learned to work in a team though it was not always easy at times. You both showed how principled and open-minded you were. My wish to you is that you continue to thrive and show what you are capable of.
I can only say 'You Rock it'...
Corinne
We all share the planet Earth and its resources i.e Food but depending on various factors such as income, climate and location, the distribution of such resources is unequal from place to place around the world. In our exhibition, we are looking into how distribution of food items works, reasons for unequal food distribution and ways we can support those in need of food. Why? In large parts of the world or even in our local community, unequal food distribution has a devastating impact on people's lives and this can have disastrous consequences ex: health issues. We can each make a difference through community action by trying to provide equal opportunities to food access. This topic has grabbed the attention of both of us as this sets the pace in the context of a real-world problem .We hope you all enjoy the content.
Before starting to inquire into the lines of inquiry,we wanted to know people’s thoughts about ‘equal access to food’ . We carried out a survey among the Year 6 students to collect data.
The information gathered from the survey shows us that the majority of students agree that ‘people do not have equal access to food’.
The table below gives us an idea of the data and the findings

LOI 2 - Reasons for Unequal food distribution
We sent the interview questions via an email to Mrs Lo Ting Lan, from a Supermarket as we could not meet her personally because of sanitary measures. She referred us to Mr Nicholas Kan Wah who kindly answered our questions.
Thibault and I made a brochure to raise awareness amongst children. They need to know about their rights to Nutritious food and the importance of healthy diets. We are planning to share this brochure amongst the Clavis Community next week.
First my partner Liam went to attend to a zoom meeting to come up with a central idea and then at school we tried to change some words a bit to make the central idea more meaningful and understandable after that we showed miss then she gave us the green light to go ahead but before that it was hard to think about a meaningful word for our central idea but at the end we still got it so it was pretty hard to choose the perfect central idea for us.
After the central idea we thought about some questions to be with our central idea and miss helped us with it took us about 12 minutes to find two pretty good ones which are :
LOI 1 : import and export
LOI 2 : Reasons for unequal food distribution
LOI 3 : ways we can help people access food
When our mentor and teacher gave us the green light we were ready to do as much research as we could to start the exhibition research. When I was searching some information I remembered my mentor and my teacher told me to mention the links and make a bibliography so I got the link, the author and the date it was published. While we were doing the research we did not find so much interesting information on food distribution and sometimes, I could not find the author or when it was published but I still searched for more information and it was sometimes hard and I struggled a lot researching about the first line of inquiry but to this day, I am still thinking about the struggle and stress I got.
Liam: The exhibition to me was quite stressful right off the bat. Already, things were going sour as Thibault and me split from Thomas and Toscane and we had to finish our key concept questions. This occured right at the beginning of the exhibition and I was a little worried about how the exhibition might turn up for me at the end. Fortunately, with Thibault by my side and some effort, things began to unfold quite smoothly as we got our key concept questions, lines of inquiry and central idea.
Then it was time for our research. Thibault was tasked for researching on LOI 1 & 2.My job for the research was to grab info for LOI 3.Research went on smoothly and then it was time to create our end products for each LOI.I decided to do a letter because it to me seemed simpler than other forms of creating an end product. Things went okay, the only hurdle being that while I finished my letter, Thibault was starting to lag behind as he didn't complete the text nor the Google slides presentation. There was not much time left Thibault and I finished the work and we were free and all our stress were gone away like nothing happened.
