Hello everyone,
We are group 13 "Food distribution." We are presenting our PYP Exhibition on this website. Our transdisciplinary theme for this year is ‘Sharing the Planet’. Our names are Toscane and Thomas. We are working with our wonderful mentor Miss Bindoo.
You are probably wondering why we chose to work on food distribution. Well, the main reasons are to understand what are the main causes of unequal food distribution and how we could all help the community by distributing food and trying to end world hunger. We really would like to stop unequal food distribution and we will try our hardest to. Below, you will find all the information we gathered during our amazing journey. In addition, you will see pictures, videos, our central idea and our lines of inquiry. Enjoy the show!

Food distribution starts with food from farms or factories. It is stored in warehouses until a company buys the food and it is transported to stores.
Finally, people purchase food to take home or to be sold in restaurants or school canteens.

Food Reformers is a charity that helps distribute food to areas where people need it the most.

We want to pass on the message that food wastage is bad. This flyer shows the ways in which food wastage can be avoided. We have shared one copy of the flyer with our school nurse, Miss Nalini and she has agreed to help us to spread this awareness with other members of our school community. We have also shared copies of the flyers to all the classes in our school. We are also looking forward to sharing these flyers in a mall with our local population.
