A Note From Our Principal:

October 22, 2018

Greetings Stingray community!

This was a week that will go down in Stingray history! We began our week together at Open House. The energy & enthusiasm to be back "home" filled our halls and warmed my heart to endless degrees! I know each of us is just so appreciative to be back "home." This week we officially welcomed our new 9th grade teacher Theresa Spears to the Stingray Team! I had the chance to see Theresa in action last week and I have no doubt she will create impactful learning experiences with our 9th grade students!

Ensuring the safety of all CAH students is our number one priority. We need your continued support in following our drop off, pick up & traffic procedures.  Should you have any questions regarding the below procedures, please do not hesitate to contact Campus Supervisor, Nick Brandon. Below is a reminder of our important traffic procedures.

Please click here for an extended and printable version of our traffic guidelines. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Samantha Bartrom

Principal

Coastal Academy High School

Counselor's Corner

Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention Month? The month culminates with Unity Day on Wednesday, October 24th. On this day, Coastal will go ORANGE. Please encourage your student to participate and show their commitment to connection and inclusion by wearing orange. We will be hosting several activities throughout the day as well as providing students with education on what bullying is, what they can do to address it, and the impacts it has on a community.

For more information on bullying, how to identify it, and resources for dealing with bully behavior, please check out THIS EPISODE of the Partnering with Parents Podcast!

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have concerns for your student. I am here to support you! You can reach me via email at jnovello@classicalacademy.com or by phone at (760) 317-9147.
