Hello!
We have begun our unit on collisions and contact forces. We began by thinking about what happens when you drop a phone and it breaks. We have looked for patterns in collisions and have defined force, speed, velocity, and momentum. This week, we also reviewed lab safety, and students took a lab safety quiz. Our science practices so far have included asking questions, developing models, planning and carrying out investigations, analyzing data, using mathematics, and communicating information.
You can find detailed information about what we are doing every day in class on the class website.
