Open House for 7th & 8th Graders will be on
Thursday, August 8 5:30 - 7:00pm
Log in to ParentVUE or StudentVUE to view your schedule (paper copies will also be available at Open House)
Review any documents that may need to be turned in, such as: 7th grade physical, birth certificate (new students), immunizations (new students), updated Release of Information forms, etc.
Meal account payments can be submitted at Open House (cash or check)
While at Open House, try out your locker combination - make sure it works and feel free to decorate the inside!
Stop by the Counseling Center to update any information (email addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts, etc.)
Students doing both orchestra and choir will start the first week with their instrumental class. During the first week, a form will be sent home for students to officially join choir in addition to their instrumental class. Students that return the form will begin going to choir on Tuesdays and Fridays the second week of school.
The choir portion will not be listed on your student's schedule...that rotation handled within the music department. Thank you so much!
I hope you are all enjoying summer break! We are getting closer to that time... school starts for 7th & 8th Grade students on TUESDAY, AUGUST 13. 7th Grade students will enter the building through Door 1. Door 1 is located at the front of the building, facing South 22nd Street. Door 1 opens at 7:30am for students eating breakfast at school. Students not attending breakfast will enter at 7:53am. 7th Grade students will not be permitted to enter the 6th Grade door. Supervision begins outside at 7:45am.
Students will receive their Chromebooks during the first week of school.
Notes from 7th Grade
Last year families received their "Notes from 6th Grade" newsletters through email in .pdf format. This year, we will be posting newsletter information bi-weekly on this Google Site. We will send parents and students the link to their email addresses listed in Synergy. By posting on this Google Site, all families will have the ability to translate the information into their home language.
