Define: Economic Migrant
An economic migrant is someone who emigrates from one region to another to seek an improvement in living standards because the living conditions or job opportunities in the migrant's own region are not sufficient.
There are many case studies of Economic Migrants - We will focus on two.
EU - legal economic migration between member states. Legal and illegal economic migration from outside of EU.
USA case study is well documented. Have there been any changes by Biden administration to the Trump administration.
Note that many of the migrants are not actually from Mexico but may be from other Central American countries going through Mexico to reach the USA. What about the recent stories regarding the forced deportation of Haitian migrants. What is the title 42 policy and how does it relate to this?
