Globalisation can be shown looking at single indicators such as amount of trade or international air traffic. However, this only shows part of the picture. A much better way is to use Composite indicators. We will focus on the KOF index, however you need to be aware of others e.g the EY Globalization index or the AT Kearney index of global cities.

Task - research articles that show that China will become the main superpower - what factors do they suggest will cause this. Discuss at home round the dinner table.
