Welcome back to the Biology/ Geography and ESS field work pages. For 10 years prior to Covid we have provided experiential learning opportunities for students to learn valuable data collection methods in the field.
For 2 years this has been put on hold, however, we can now announce the recommencement of this trip.
Working with Orcanation. we are developing an intinerary that will take us to two amazing locations in Malaysia -
1) Taman Negeri Rompin - a rainforest State Park with excellent facilities for student groups.
2) Rawa island - Orcanation have a centre here and students will collect data related to reef ecology. Further details will be shared soon.
At each of the sites, students will collect data for their mandatory Internal Assessments and undertake other exciting experiential learning opportunities whilst having the chance to finally go on a group trip with their peers and teachers. This page will continually update as the itinerary gets filled in.
We have tried to respond rapidly to the removal of restrictions, however, to get everything in place and booked we need to ask your assistance in filling in documentation.
The first two most important documents that we need to have filled back are the following. These need to happen so we can book it before going on the summer break. You would receive invoices for these in August.
