Hello and welcome to my Personal Project page! Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Lintang Sasihastha Aviyahumaira but I normally go by the nickname Aira and I am a year 10 student currently attending Sekolah Cikal Lebak Bulus.
My personal project is based on two interests that I have. Those being photography and also mental health, or more specifically, insecurities.
Photography has been a major part of my life ever since I was younger until now. However, I'm more used to taking pictures of scenery and nature so I wanted to try a different style through this project. Other than that, insecurities have been an interest of mine since I turned around 11 or 12. It's not only insecurities that I'm interested in but it's mental health as a whole. I only chose to focus on it for this project cause I think that it's something that everybody or at least most people go through. I wanted to broaden my knowledge about insecurities with my project.

✰ Specific ✰
Make and design a photobook filled with photos that symbolize people and their insecurities. It will also have minimal pages of writing. The book has the goal of promoting self-love and acceptance along with showing that although we have imperfections (physical or not), we’re all perfect and beautiful in our own ways.
✰ Measurable ✰
To keep track of my progress, I had made notes on my laptop where I can write down what I need to do, what I have done, and also when I need things done. My supervisor and parents also played a role in making sure I had made progress regarding my project.
✰ Achievable ✰
I was sure that I would run into problems or complications whilst doing this project. For example, procrastination or lack of motivation. However, I can overcome these with the help of my supervisor and also my family. They can remind me to do things while encouraging me at the same time.
✰ Realistic ✰
With my goal being to promote self-love and acceptance, I hope to get people to understand that even if we each have our own insecurities and flaws, we should embrace who we are and not be ashamed of how we look. I want people to accept themselves as they are.
✰ Time-Bound ✰
Since I am big on procrastinating, I told myself that I would finish my project whenever I can as long as it was within the time frame we had. Although, this did cause me to put it off for months and ended up making me do most of it last minute.
ATL Skills, Interviews, Process, Product
✰ Communication ✰
Communication skills were used when I was interviewing my experts since I had to ask them questions and also talk to them further to get the answers I wanted and needed. These skills were also used alongside my photography skills as I had to take the photos while making sure that they could get the initial point of insecurity across.
✰ Self-Management ✰
Self-management skills were used when I was making plans and scheduling times to take photos with my models along with making sure that I get everything that is needed for the book to get started on designing it.
✰ Research ✰
Research skills are used since I have to do research in order for me to get the information I need for my books contents. This includes researching online and also doing interviews with my experts.
For my interviews, I decided to interview a psychologist, Pak Agung Rachmadi, for questions about my main topic, insecurities. While for my photography expert, I interviewed my cousin. Since I didn't really know what to ask specifically for the photography one, I ended up just asking for their opinions to certain questions.

Challenges, Impacts, Plan
✰ Finding Motivation ✰
It was definitely hard for me to find motivation but with the help and encouragement coming from my family and also my supervisor, I was able to get the motivation in order to finish this project.
✰ Time Management ✰
I also had trouble managing my time whilst doing this project. I had procrastinated a lot and ended up turning a 3-4 month process into 1 month.
✰ Personal ✰
This project has helped increase my knowledge about insecurities, improve my creative, communication, and research skills, and has also helped my try a different photography style.
✰ Community ✰
For the impact on others, according to my feedback forms, my book was able to add to their knowledge of insecurities. after reading the book, they were able to learn things about insecurities such as how it’s something we can be proud of, how it can impact our lives, ways we can overcome it, what can cause it, etc.
