ABOUT MY PROJECT
My personal project is a three-part video series on What it takes to be a professional footballer. . Football has always been the thing that interest me the most since I was a kid, and Being a professional footballer has always been a dream of mine. And I want to find out What It Takes To Become A Professional Football Player, making a video series would also help kids that want to go pro understand what it takes to go pro.
Goal
My goal for this project is to share my knowledge with the kids that want to go pro as Footballer and help inspire them and I also wanna raise awareness regarding the state of what Indonesian football looks like by making a video series that will explain everything about it
ATL SKILLS
Communication Skills
I apply these communication skills when I got in contact with the 3 experts (Coach, Nutritionist, and Professional Footballer ) for the interview and also to plan out the interview so the whole interview runs smoothly. I also used the skills during the interview, I need to make sure that the conversation that we have is engaging and clear. All in all, I apply my communication skills intensively, from making initial engagements with the experts and arranging our schedules, to leading the interview with them.
Research Skills
Research skills is definitely a skill that I used a lot as I didn't have any prior knowledge on how to use iMovie before this and with research such as watching youtube videos, researching online I eventually understood how to use iMovie and how to make a well-structured video and how to edit properly. The other part I researched was the important factors of being a pro, researching this is important as that is the main topic that I'm going to be covering for my project and it also determines who I will be interviewing and what questions should I ask the interviewee
Thinking Skills
Thinking skills are an important part I brainstormed ideas and I eventually decided that this project is the one I wanna do. Coming up with the questions is also part of thinking skills as i needed to make the right question to ask, and it also helped me come up with solutions.
Most of my research was done through independent research. the research was regarding the topics that I want to put in my video series so I can really understand the topics that I will be discussing throughout the three videos. The second part of my research was regarding iMovie/editing as I didn't have any prior knowledge of it. Having no prior knowledge of using iMovie before with research like watching YouTube videos about it and watching tutorials online, I finally understood how to use iMovie and how to create a well-structured video. The other part I researched was the important factors in being a pro. Researching this is important as it is the main topic that I will be covering for my project and it also determines who I will interview and what questions to ask. Watching YouTube videos and reading articles are the main sources for this. And the last one is how to make an engaging video. This was important because I needed to make a very entertaining and engaging video. So that the audience doesn't get bored, here I watch several different videos that are similar to mine as an example

After making the questions I sent the list of questions to all three interviewees so they'll be prepared once the interview starts and when I start recording. The first interview was with Coach Aldi a football expert and also a Coach for u12s the interview went well and it was really easy to cooperate with him, we met at a coffee shop to do the interview and recorded it there.
The second interview was with Dr. Louise Kartika she is a Physician Nutrition Specialist there were connections issues here and there as we did the interview via zoom cause we couldn't find the time to do it in real life cause of her tight schedule, but overall the interview went well
The last one is an interview with Kak Bayu Guntoro he is a Professional Football Player was done in real life, we met at his Training ground and did the interview there, it was really easy to cooperate with him and he was very nice, the interview went really well.
The first thing I did was, I created a list of questions to ask the interviewees with the help of critical thinking and my research regarding the topics. all my questions were written down in English but all three interviewees were more comfortable speaking in Bahasa so I decided to translate the questions when talking.
CREATING THE PRODUCT: EDITING THE INTERVIEW
I did all my recording for the voiceover using voice memos, an app from my phone I would then airdrop it to my laptop to put it in iMovie this part wasn't really difficult for me as I already knew what I had to say and the voiceovers werent really a big part of my video as majority of the video is footage from the interview.
CREATING THE PRODUCT: PUBLISHING
After I finished recording my voiceovers and editing the videos I uploaded all three of my videos on youtube as planned.
After I got all the footage and recorded all the interviews I had to convert the file type as it wasn't compatible with iMovie and I got all the stock footage, and then I checked all the footage and audio if it was good, I also needed to match the audio and video as I recorded the two from different devices
CREATING THE PRODUCT: VOICEOVER
Challenges I faced
Internal Challenges: I faced a couple of different challenges, one of them being my time management, I procrastinated a lot and it didn't help me at all as it would come back and haunt me, in the end, I didn't have enough time to promote my videos which means two of the three videos didn't reach its initial view goal/target
External Challenges: One of the external challenges I faced was getting in contact with the Professional football player, when I got in contact with him he had a very busy schedule so we couldn't find any free time for him to do the interview. Luckily I found another football player to interview. The second external issue is probably me not having any experience in editing a video series.
Impact on my community and myself
I learned a lot during and after this project, not just about the project itself but everything to do with it, working independently cause even if there was my supervisor, parents, and everyone else that supported me throughout this project it was mostly up to me to finish and do well with this project. Developing my research, self-management, communication, and collaboration skills and also learning how to edit a video series using iMovie, and obviously what it takes to be a professional footballer. So I would that this has positively impacted me even if there were stressful moments where I doubted myself, I feel like the things I have learned throughout this whole entire project have outweighed the negatives and there weren't many. This project is undoubtedly a blessing and hopefully, the things I learned throughout the project I can apply to the future.
