Bio:
Rachel Hunley is the Community and Collaboration Program Manager for the VCU Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research within the VCU Department of Health Behavior and Policy. As CCPM, Rachel works with team members to establish and build community collaborations to translate research throughout VCU's catchment. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Sciences, with concentrations in Public Health and Health Psychology. Rachel has a passion for addressing lung health and tobacco-related disparities in minority populations. She is skilled in tobacco cessation interventions and has designed cessation training and referral protocols.
Prior to joining the Wright Center, Rachel has served as the Community Health Educator for VCU Massey Cancer Center, Division Manager for the American Lung Association’s Smokefree Multi-Unit Housing Initiative, as well as Cancer Prevention and Control Specialist for the Virginia Department of Health.
