Bio:
Dr. Quinn is the Livia Wan MD Endowed Chair and Vice-Chair of Research and Professor in the department of OB-GYN and an affiliate Professor in Population Health and the Division of Medical Ethics at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. Her research focuses on patient-provider communication primarily reproductive health issues among adolescents and young adults (AYA), clinical trial accrual, and access to care for minority and underserved populations. She is the author of over 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters. She has been continuously funded from a variety of sources including the American Cancer Society, The National Institutes of Health, LiveStrong Foundation, V Foundation, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Prior to joining NYU in November 2017, she was at Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of South Florida for 17 years. She serves on the boards of the LGBT Health Workforce Planning Committee, the Alliance for Fertility Preservation, Stupid Cancer and is chair of the ethics division of the PanCare Life international workgroup on standards for reproductive health for AYA with cancer.
