Health communication and Social Media, Substance use, Cancer, Mental health.

Bio: Growing up in a developing country facing numerous health behavioral issues motivated Ghader to make changes in his community. So, he started to learn public health and nursing and worked as a mental health nurse and epidemiologist at a psychiatric hospital in Iran. After that, Ghader came to the US to start his PhD program in social and behavioral science at VCU, where he is currently a PhD student. His research interests include substance use and Cancer, especially cannabis use among young adults and cancer survivors.In addition, Ghader's other research interests include the use of new technology and social media in the context of substance use and cancer.
