Bio:
Claudia Bale graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with a concentration in International Health. Before joining our lab, she worked as a research assistant for the VCU Department of Health Psychology in a pediatric health disparities lab under Dr. Everhart. She has also conducted independent research in Zacapa, Guatemala investigating community health needs and health promotion strategies funded through the David Baldacci Experiential Learning Endowed fund and under the tutelage of Dr. Judyth Twigg in the department of VCU Political Science. She is currently medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University in fall of 2021 with clinical interests in primary care, women’s health, and health disparities. She continues to collaborate with the CIHC lab as an external member.
