Bio:

Dr. Robert Perera is an Associate Professor and the Graduate Program Director in the Department of Biostatistics at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, he is an affiliate faculty in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Center for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering. His research interests are longitudinal data analysis, Structural Equation Modeling, and Adaptive Clinical Trial Design. He collaborates with investigators on a wide range of health and public-health research including traumatic brain injuries, gun violence, sexual assault, and health disparities.
