Particular Course Requirements:
Year 11 and Year 12 Geography have a compulsory fieldwork component to be completed on a multi-day class excursion.
Cost: $500 ($200 Year 11 Fieldwork & $300 Year 12 Fieldwork). Both multi-day trips

ATAR Category A - 2 unit
In the Year 11 Geography course, students investigate biophysical and human geography and develop their knowledge and understanding about the spatial and ecological dimensions of Geography. Enquiry methodologies are used to investigate the unique characteristics of our world through fieldwork geographical skills and the study of contemporary geographical issues.
The Year 12 course enables students to appreciate geographical perspectives about the contemporary world. There are specific studies about biophysical and human processes, interactions and trends Fieldwork and a variety of case studies combine with an assessment of the geographer’s contribution to understanding our interactions with the environment and demonstrate the relevance of geographical study.
