We offer two distinct ways to participate in our network:
Full Membership
Guest Membership
Commitement
Expected to attend all meetings in their entirety.
Flexible attendance; no attendance requirements.
Group Dynamics
Placed in a group according to the resource you have chosen, this group depends on active presence.
Floating status; not beholden to a specific group.
Absence Protocol
Must notify facilitator and follow up with group.
Not required to email or report absences.
Materials and Resources
Receives all group resources (including the annual resource).
Does not receive the annual resource/ unique resources.
Step 1: Contact the Facilitator – Email the facilitator at kberg@cesa1.k12.wi.us as soon as possible to explain that you have an emergency. This marks your absence as excused.
Step 2: Contact Your Group – Reach out to your assigned core group members to find out what you missed and check on any action items or tasks you need to complete before the next meeting.
The Check-In Email: If you miss a meeting and do not contact the facilitator, you will receive an email asking if you would prefer to move down to a Guest Membership.
The Automatic Transition: If you do not respond to that check-in email within 5 business days, you will automatically be moved down to a Guest Membership for the remainder of the year.
Loss of Resources: Once moved to a Guest Membership, you will lose access to full-member perks and will not receive the group book/resource for the following year.
Policy Philosophy & Intent
As a network of educators supporting educators, this policy is administrative rather than punitive. It is designed to respect the time of all participants and ensure that core groups remain stable, reliable, and collaborative. Members who experience a shift in capacity are encouraged to proactively request a transition to Guest Membership by contacting the facilitator.
