In recommending a staff member, a district commits to:
Release the recommended educator to attend a 1 1/2 hour meeting 4 times a year. Since we will be providing material for your educator and they will be on a team of people working with that resource it is imperative this time is protected. A virtual option is availble for every meeting.
While not required, we also HIGHLY encourage the district to send that person to the Special Education Conference put on by EdEvents in November so that they can attend our kick off meeting each year in-person.
Details for the conference can be found at https://www.edevents.org/

Can more than one person from my district be recommended?
At this time there is no limit, but as the group grows this may change for the future
I am a CESA consultant, can I join?
Yes, your "district" administrator would be the person in charge of managing your CESA days, whomever your direct admin is
Teams of Support Squad members are currenlty building Toolkits for districts to use. Check back in the school year of 26/27 to find implementation strategies and materials for some of the common barriers our students with neurodiverse needs face.
