After his graduation from Central in 1962, Alan Johnson attended Loras College, graduating with a degree in business. He then spent three years as a Quartermaster and with the Airborne Division in the United States Army. Alan also holds a graduate degree in banking from the University of Wisconsin. He is currently the President of Central State Bank in Elkader, Chairman of Corridor State Bank of Coralville, Director of Banks in Waukon and Decorah, and brokers real estate with Iowa Realty in Elkader.
