Nancy Creason received her BSN Degree from the University of Iowa, her MSN from Wayne State University, and her Ph.D from the University of Michigan. Nancy has a record of academic and professional positions in a variety of nursing related fields. She has been active in research and has published numerous articles and pamphlets, which reflected her nursing teachings and research activities. She has also presented a number of papers at nursing workshops and conventions.

Nancy's honors include being named Freshmen Merit Scholar at the University of Iowa and a member of Sigma Theta Tua, receiving the Golden Apple Award for Faculty Excellence at the University of Illinois and a University Fellowship at the University of Michigan, being named a Danforth Associate, and being listed in "Who's Who Among American Women" in 1982.
