Welcome to our Class!
You're invited! In my ten years of teaching, I have gotten so much joy from making students and their parents feel included. A "dorm mom" at Grace University in Omaha and now a real mom of four at our honey bee farm in Celina, I work hard to develop relationships and community and will teach my class to do the same. (These early lessons in leadership lay the foundation for a healthy view of self and a positive experience with school.)
I've traveled the world and will be blessed to guide the development of our own classroom culture. Your child and I will spend the year doing some of my favorite things together: reading quality books, playing board games, putting together puzzles, and being creative! So, you and your little learner are invited to journey with me through the adventures of education. What fun!

I am so excited to be your child’s teacher and to meet you all this Monday, August 8! The orange words are links to help you before you come.
· Use your cell phone or desktop to download the Bloomz to sign up for a Meet the Teacher time slot. We will communicate through Bloomz throughout the year, like sending you first-day pictures!
· Pack your School Supply List items to bring to the meeting. Use a permanent marker beforehand to label only the following with your student’s first and last name:
o backpack
o nap mat
o yellow folder (top right corner)
o spiral notebook (top right corner)
o plastic pencil box
o and earphones for iPad
· Pack 1 set of extra clothes in a Ziplock (label with first and last name) to keep at school. Include
o underwear
o socks
o shirt
o pants
· Bookmark the School Parent Guide and note the Parent to Do List at the bottom of the page.
· Watch for the forms “About My Child” and “How I Go Home” and also for our class schedule.
We are going to have an amazing year learning and playing together! Go Bobcats!
