This is my fifth year teaching and second year in Celina ISD. I worked in Mesquite before my family, and I moved to Van Alstyne last year. My husband and I have been married almost 20 years, and we have a 15 year old daughter who will be a sophomore in high school this next year.

I am a born and raised Texan. I love reading and writing, shopping, traveling, listening to music, and am a huge Harry Potter nerd even though my favorite movie is The Princess Bride.

In my class, I hold my students to high expectations and standards so they learn to be independent workers and creative thinkers. I strive to create lessons that are engaging so the kids have fun as they learn. My favorite part about teaching is watching the students accomplish tasks and succeed where they struggled before.

I look forward to this new year and all the memories we'll make.

Accidents happen. Please send your child with a full change of clothes, including underwear and socks, in a large Ziploc bag. This will stay in their backpack until they need it.
