Implementation is the critical union between curriculum, assessment, and instruction. Student learning should be a deep, challenging, and engaging experience where success is measured by improvement and growth, not necessarily by a grade. For this to occur teachers are working to make the shift from direct instructor to class facilitator. By designing lessons that promote productive struggle, require students to answer rich questions, provide the opportunity to construct models, and implement the latest technology, students take ownership of their education.
