Cancelation/Reschedule Reasons
We need to follow the correct process for properly canceling an accession or placing it in a reschedule status.
Below is a document with guidelines that will help outline when to use Cancel and when to use Reschedule Status.

If we can capture the patient exam at a later time we should NEVER cancel but place in Reschedule
You will see these new cancelation reasons loaded into EXA tomorrow

You can only cancel an accession from the Patient Profile/Studies Tab in EXA, you do not have the option to place in Reschedule Status from here
Only prefilled options should be selected for cancelation reason in EXA. You should never chose the option Other
You can execute the act of truly rescheduling the exam to a different day time, facility but not place in a Reschedule Status so that the patient can reschedule their appointment at a later time
You must do this from the worklist area of EXA by right clicking and choosing Reschedule
If using Reschedule, you will need to make sure you notate the reason in the Call Log Notes.
