What is this training about?
AI and the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework create a synergistic bond- AI can help reduce the overwhelm of trying to align to the UDL framework and UDL serves as a specific guide for the tangible ideas and materials to task AI with.
The UDL framework highlights instructional materials like checklists, rubrics, exemplars, non-examples, reflections, etc. that all contribute to autonomy in meaning-making for students. These kinds of materials are often unrealized in environments where teachers have little time to see out all that is expected of them. Even when teachers do carve out the time, starting from a blank page is incredibly daunting. This is where the synergy between AI and UDL shines- we have AI to generate any text-based artifact we can dream up and UDL gives us the specific prompting to give those dreams shape.
Why should I take it?
This training will guide you in leveraging AI at both the teacher and student level to focus on amplifying learning instead and not just getting stuff done faster.
