Our Philosophy and Mission
Excellent people.
Excellent process.
Excellent product.
One of our key culture points is "excellence."
We believe that the most important purpose of any endeavor is that it shapes us into a better version of ourselves. Excellent people are good people of strong character. Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the worldwide Scouting movement defined a strong list of character traits worth striving for: trustworthiness, loyalty, helpfulness, friendliness, courtesy, kindness, obedience, cheerfulness, thriftiness, bravery, cleanliness, and reverence.
We also emphasize the process; excellent people pursue excellence every step of the way, not just at the finish line. Planning, preparation, and practice must be done with the highest attention to detail and quality possible. We commit to doing everything we can to the best of our ability and the best of our knowledge, but we also commit to always look to expand our capacities and knowledge.
We believe that as an extension of these two ideas, any "product" we produce (whether it be a performance, a fundraiser, a community project, or simply school work) will be excellent. Excellent people engaged in an excellent process will inevitably yield an excellent product. We aim to instill this mindset into each and every student who walks through our doors.
