In June 2024 , with some partners we have created a company in Sao Tomé e Principe, to buy directly from farmers large quantities of dried cacao beans of very high quality.. Sao Tomé produces one of the best cacao due to the quality of its environment, the minerality of its soil and the presence of old variety of cacao trees.
In July 2024, using samples brought back from Sao Tome, I started to produce my own chocolate , as a hobby, to give to relatives .
Having received a lot of positive comments , I decided in September 2025 to launch a complementary activity (personnal this time) aside my job of Telecommunication engineer.
I also followed a training to improve my tempering techniques and to reach the desired quality of chocolate. This allowed me to be registered at the Guilt of Belgian Chocolatiers.
At the same time, I have received from Belgian food quality authority (AFSCA/ FAVV) the necessary authorisations to produce and to sell.
The activity of my little home chocolate factory has officially started on November 15 th 2025.
