All matriculated students participate in orientation, which happens on July 11, 12, and 13. Additional orientation activities happen during the first week of classes as well. A full schedule of events is posted below. Check it out!

Here are some frequently asked questions about orientation
- Q: What should I wear?
- A: You should wear clothing and shoes that you feel comfortable moving around in. There may be some active sessions, so dress accordingly.
- Q: What's for breakfast?
- A: We serve a variety of breakfast foods on day 1, including fresh fruit, yogurt and granola parfait, bagels and pastries, coffee, and juice.
- Q: When should I arrive?
- A: You should plan to arrive between 7:45 and 8:15 AM. Orientation activities start promptly at 8:30 AM.
- Q: What should I bring on my first day?
- A: You should bring your laptop, writing utensils and paper, a light sweatshirt (in case you get cold); if you bring a water bottle, be sure that it seals tightly!
