Founding Fathers Facebook Page

In this project you are going to research information about one the founding fathers of our great country. As you find information about the founding fathers you will create a faux Facebook page for them using a Google Slides template

You will start with a blank Facebook template and add research information and pictures to the appropriate area.

Each photo will be linked to an information page on the Internet so either a wiki page or other page

Adding Images

Now you will add images to your slides these images will link to new slides

Remember to resize the images to fit or use the replace image technique which will automatically crop the image for you

Right click on the image and select Replace image to do this

Add Memes or famous quotes to each slide

Add a famous quotes to each slide in a blank area of each slide

Linking Images to new slides

You need to link images to new slides. 

To link an image first click on image then press this button 

Now select the slide you want to go to for that image you must create the slide before you can link to it

Each new slide should have the following:

• 1. Larger version of picture

  2. Information about picture

  3. If picture is of a friend it should have the following:

     1. Name of Person

     2. Birth and Death

     3. Accomplishment of the person

  4. If picture is of a place it should have the following:

• • 1. Location

    2. Description

When linking images to new pages you will have these options

• • You can link to a website like your friends biography page.

  • You can link to next slide

  • Previous slide

  • Or any exact slide

I have created a image page template that can be used for each of your pictures just copy this slide for each picture you need to link so you will need at least 18, 9 for friends and 9 for pictures

The picture slide template will need 6 items:

• 1. Picture of father

  2. Name of father

  3. Who is in picture or location of picture

  4. Description of picture

  5. Link back to page that image came from so it simulates closing the picture

  6. Link to next picture in series

  7. Link to previous picture in series
