The International Party, hosted by Rosmini College, took place on May 8th. It involved international students from Rosmini College, Carmel College, St Mary’s College, St Peter’s College, Sacred Heart College, and Baradene College of the Sacred Heart.
Students from China, Japan, Korea, and Germany were among the many nationalities represented, creating a multicultural atmosphere that showcased the diversity of the international student community.
Starting at 6 pm, the party provided international students with the perfect opportunity to connect with peers from different schools and make friends with people from around the world. The evening offered various activities designed to break the ice and encourage interaction between students.
The photo booth proved to be a popular attraction, with groups of new friends capturing memories throughout the night. While the ping pong tables became centres of friendly competition, even with the language barriers. As the night progressed, the carefully selected playlist helped bring everyone together, turning the initial mingling into something much more engaging.
Towards the end of the night, the energy reached its highest as everyone became fully immersed in the party. Rosmini's auditorium transformed into what felt like a concert hall, with students dancing and singing along to the music with captivating enthusiasm.
The evening concluded with new friendships formed and contact details exchanged. For the international students who attended, the party served as more than just entertainment; it became an opportunity to build connections with people that they normally would never meet.
